Description
When my husband and I lived in New Zealand, I would often walk out to this wild place called Red Rocks, a peninsula at the very bottom of the North Island where seals hang out on the rocky shore. I hiked up the rugged seaside cliff, braving the cold wind that blew stronger the closer I got to the top. Despite my hands going numb instantly, I stayed up there long enough to capture the beautiful view looking west. The South Island is faintly visible on the horizon, and you can spot a little bit of the road I hiked up from in the lower lefthand corner.
